Long Way Round – Motorcycle Documentary

As usual I’ve been letting my duties at this site fall by the wayside as I work on other things. Fear not, I have a treat for you this time, at least its a treat if you like either motorcycles or travel documentaries. If you’ve never seen Long Way Round then now’s your chance, you can watch the entire documentary series below.
For those of you who haven’t heard of the Long Way Round before its a documentary about a once in a lifetime motorcycle touring adventure undertaken by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. They traveled through some of the most beautiful and dangerous places in the world as they rode from London, through Europe and Russia, to get to New York going the round way round.

Nice one Ciprian, Thanks for stopping by
GREAT show – Kathy and I started this afternoon and stayed up WAY past our bedtimes to watch it all the way through.
But a question please – what bike did Claudio ride in N America?
We’re heartily looking foreword to watching “Long Way Down” (tomorrow) …

Great vid, thanks for posting! I really enjoyed it.
But I must say, Ewan and Charley spent a disturbing amount of time naked together
@Dan’l Claudio rode his original bike in N America NOT the old russian one. They had it shipped to Ancorage (Alaska) where it was fixed (I believe the frame needed welding).
I am a HUGE Ewan fan so this was a special treat for me
. I just bought both the books today. Does anyone know where I can find ‘Long Way Down’?
Thanks for sharing this documentary with us, It’s been second time I watched it and I just love it. It gives me ideas of doing things in my life that i like.
How about “Long way down”? Any chance to watch it on here?
Is this the entire series? If so, you did a tremendous job! I loved how they all flowed together!
Thanks for posting these great documentaries for all of us to watch. Is there any way you could post Charley Boorman’s new shows “By Any Means” and “Right to the Edge: Sydney to Tokyo By Any Means”?

The first time inspired me, i plan to ride from my hometown in Calgary to Anchorage Alaska then ferry ride back to Vancouver Island and ride down the island across to Vancouver into US and back to Calgary. After watching this i have to leave my Hayabusa at home and buy a BMW GS1200!!
What made it was two such good mates living a dream together – awesome!
Mant thanks for putting the work into getting this on-line, I really enjoyed seeing it again.
