Night And Fog
One of the most vivid depictions of the horrors of Nazi Concentration Camps. Filmed in 1955 at several concentration camps in Poland, the film combines new color and black and white footage with black and white newsreels, footage shot by the victorious allies, and stills, to tell the story not only of the camps, but to portray the horror of man’s brutal inhumanity.

As I sat filled with holy rage and disgust, I realized that victim and perpetrator alike were indistinguishable just a few years before the madness. These were friends, neighbors, a teacher, a postman, a delivery driver, a hairdresser. No one would know what role would be taken on by any of them until the madness set in. Who can know until history is repeated. No one will know until it sets in again, as it truly will, as it truly must; for we are man.
It appals me that this is not required study for teenagers. If we hide from the horror and do not teach our children who will stop the next time from happening?
Truly horrific to watch but watch this and let the dead and the lessons of this awful time be remembered.
This documentary has to be the most powerful one I have ever seen on the Holocaust. I believe that this should be a requirement for all high school students. Many of our teenagers are far removed from the reality of this documentary. We constantly say that we must remember so that it will not happen again, but we do forget, our memory does fade, and we think that we are too smart to let this happen again. We are not. We must recognize how easily this can happen again.
